Vancouver, BC, Canada - worldofwonder

Designed by architect Gerald Hamilton, the H.R. Macmillan Space Centre opened in 1968 and it is located in Vanier Park. The crab, which is considered by the Haidi Indians to be the "Guardian of the Harbour", is almost 20 feet (6m) tall and it resides in the fountain at the main entrance. Inside are various exhibits and the highlight is to view some of the superb shows in the Planetarium theater. For more info http://www.spacecentre.ca/
